Ordering road salt from the phone: Anleggsgartner Jans Hageservice

The challenge

Anleggsgartner Jans Hageservice runs winter maintenance for municipalities, contractors, housing cooperatives and industry in Bergen and the surrounding area. Salt demand varies through the season, and orders often have to be placed outside normal office hours.

The solution

The company has been a Saltimport customer for over 17 years, and now uses our digital customer portal to order goods. Site manager Anders Fosse Hopland switches between fieldwork and the office, and often places orders in the evening or on weekends. The goods are usually ready for pickup the next day.

The result

• Orders can be placed at any hour, regardless of opening times
• Fast pickup of goods, often the day after ordering
• Big bags, bagged salt on pallets and calcium chloride for concrete surfaces are all available in the portal
