Saltimport expands with a new terminal in the Faroe Islands

A shorter route to the customer

With our own terminal in the Faroe Islands, the warehouse moves closer to customers in the North Atlantic. That means shorter delivery times, fewer transfers and a steadier supply through the months when demand is highest.

More capacity through the winter

The terminal has room for considerably larger volumes than the previous solution. This makes it possible to build stock ahead of the season, so deliveries run as normal even when the weather makes sea transport unpredictable.

What it means for you as a customer

  • Faster deliveries to fisheries, aquaculture and industry in the region
  • More predictable access to salt in peak season
  • The same quality and documentation as from our other terminals

Being close to the customer is the simplest way to make a delivery predictable.
